A DAY WITH CESAR MILLAN!

... and what a day it was! I had the unbelievable opportunity to spend some time with Cesar Millan a few weeks ago and what an experience it was! I volunteer for a wonderful organization called K9 Connection and was lucky enough to be invited along with the group to meet Cesar. K9 Connection goes into local shelters, rescues pound doggies, and brings them into schools to work with at risk teens for a 3 week period. (to learn more go to K9connection.org)

Listening to Cesar speak to these young people was a thrill. He had a lot to say about his pack of dogs that really translated into our world as well. He spoke a lot about not living and dwelling in the past or worrying about the future. He told us that we should not feel sorry for what the dogs have had happen to them in the past but to focus on the NOW. Dogs can't remember the past they only deal with what is right in front of them in the moment. He also explained his beliefs about ENERGY. What we put out to the dogs they give us back. If we are all excited and frantic the dogs will respond to that. If we are calm, they will be calm. The same with people. What energy we put out we will get back.
